Meet Jasper’zjem
Writing has always been Jasperz’jem’s first love. With her gifts incorporated with her life experiences, she uses the written word to inspire her culture to embrace their beauty, acknowledge their value and own their relevance. As a writer, Jasperz’jem lends her voice as a tool to advocate for those who feel as though they don’t have one in the hopes that one day they may be encouraged to not only find their own, but to also motivate others not to be afraid to do the same.
Writing for over 20 years, Jasperz’jem is a graduate of William Paterson University, earning her BA in Communications in 2006. She has always had a passion for art and entertainment and has been a featured writer for “Girl Bye” magazine as well as a contributed poet in R.A.W. Magazine, and for the “God’s Chosen Women” Conferences. She has also presented her poetry at several community events as well as a contributing writer for her companies newsletter. Along with working in New York Radio, she has had the opportunity of dabbling in film as an extra in 3 films, “Boycott”, “Drumline” and “Stomp The Yard: Homecoming”. Also, she has been afforded the experience of working several industry events for the likes of Jamie Foxx, David Benoit and Jonathan Butler.
Excited about all the opportunities ahead, she embraces this phase of her journey and looks forward to inspiring souls along the way.
